Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Sumitomo We are looking for a full‑time experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant machinery with limited supervision. Hiring Bonus $2,000. Job Duties and Responsibilities Examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation. Repair CNC machines and/or robotics. Occasionally fabricate replacement parts. Clean filters and perform preventive maintenance on coolant systems and mist collection components. Change or add oils and lubricants to production equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and the maintenance area. Provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff when needed. Required Skills and Experience Work independently with limited supervision and minimal technical guidance. Communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors. Three years of preventive industrial maintenance experience preferred; not required. Experience with CNC grinding, machining equipment, or HVAC is a plus. General knowledge of basic hand tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
