We are proud & honored to provide these services.Overview of position:We are looking for a Platform Engineer/Architect, SME to work in Indianapolis, IN.An active Secret security clearance and a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level platform engineering support for DFAS CCE NIPRNet unclassified enclaveProcess CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets achieving 95% worked-by-priority complianceSupport CCE Change Control Board (CCB) with 95% on-time inputsLead technology planning and develop ITI 5-Year Roadmap & Architecture (due 60 days after award, then annually)Engineer solutions for CCE movement to DoD certified cloud solutions and hybrid environmentsEvaluate CCE infrastructure for cost reduction, service improvement, and capability enhancementReengineer CCE infrastructure to meet next generation architecture protocols and Zero Trust Network ArchitectureConduct tuning activities achieving 90% on-schedule complianceSupport IPv6 processing achieving 100% validation complianceExperience/Skills:10+ years enterprise systems architecture experienceExpert-level Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification)Expert-level security architecture (CISSP certification)Experience with NIPRNet unclassified network environmentsProficiency in: SQL, SCOM, MECM, Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), Directory ServicesExperience with Azure cloud migration and hybrid environmentsKnowledge of IPv6 implementation and transitionExperience developing technology roadmaps and architecture documentationDemonstrated Zero Trust Network Architecture implementation experiencePreferred Qualification:Azure Solutions Architect certificationVMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certificationExperience with DFAS financial systems infrastructurePrior DoD cloud migration experienceFedRAMP/FISMA compliance experienceKnowledge of DISA STIGs and security hardeningExperience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation)Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertifications:Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802CISSP or equivalentClearance:Active Secret security clearance is required.Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).FEDITC, LLC. is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
