About Us: At FirstLight Home Care, we provide in-home care assistance to seniors or any adult that needs extra assistance with their activities of daily living. We are dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence, ensuring they do not have to rely on family, friends, or neighbors for their care. Our care ranges from personal care to companion services, and we have been passionately serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years. Role Overview: As a Part Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that our clients enjoy the quality of life they deserve. Whether you work during the day, evening, overnight, or weekends, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that accommodates both client needs and your availability. Key Responsibilities: Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Remind clients to take their medications on time. Assist with mobility and transferring clients as needed. Provide transportation and run errands for clients. Support clients with their daily activities to enhance their independence. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and dependable nature. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently in a client's home. Reliable transportation for travel to clients' homes. Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays. Bonus If You: Speak additional languages. Employment Type & Availability: This is a Part-Time position that may include day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts based on client needs and caregiver availability.
