Overview
Respiratory Therapist with Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials. This travel assignment is in a hospital setting in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,350–$2,436 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (NOC). This assignment requires successful credentialing and hospital-based practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care per physician orders.
- Educate patients and families, offer appropriate teaching, and document education in the EMR.
- Monitor patient condition changes, communicate pertinent information to the care team, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Perform pain assessment and take action according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete documentation including order entry, verification, medication charting, patient safety/incident reports, and equipment tagging.
- Maintain respiratory equipment: disassemble, clean, assemble, and perform preventative maintenance; tag equipment requiring maintenance and coordinate with the appropriate department.
- Transport infants to/from referral health systems and ensure safe transfer according to protocol.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet department needs.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Respiratory Therapist license with the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care prior to start date.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association prior to start; ACLS; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) prior to start.
- Experience/Education: Not specified in the notes; qualified candidates will meet standard professional requirements for this role.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment.
- Compliance with credentialing and primary source verification prior to start.
