RN - Med/Surg Telemetry Resource Pool

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit as part of a flexible resource pool
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a resource pool or float pool capacity
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
