Microsofts Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases data integration big data analytics messaging & real-time analytics and business intelligence. Microsoft OneLake is the foundation of Microsoft Fabric: a single data lake for the whole organization built into every Fabric workload. Think of it as OneDrive for data. OneLake keeps one copy of data in open formats that every engine can use from Spark and SQL to Power BI and AI. Through shortcuts customers can connect data across clouds without moving it. The OneLake team builds the storage security and governance that the worlds largest enterprises rely on.

As a Product Manager on the OneLake team youll help shape features based on what customers and partners need. Youll work closely with engineering and design to define requirements prioritize work and deliver features from start to finish.

• Own and prioritize the roadmap for your features.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree AND 2 years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree AND 5 years experience in product/service/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2 years experience improving product metrics for a product feature or experience in a market (e.g. growing customer base expanding customer usage avoiding customer churn).
• 2 years experience disrupting a market for a product feature or experience (e.g. competitive disruption taking the place of an established competing product).
• Demonstrated experience working backwards from customer needs to feature definition.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102100 - $202200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133800 - $219200 per year.
