Digital Strategist

Digital StrategistThe Digital Strategist will write fundraising emails and text messages, load and send text messages, and build online petition and donation pages. This position will assist in reporting analytics from clients' digital fundraising campaigns. The Digital Strategist must be a strong writer with incredibly close attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have the unique opportunity to work on a variety of digital fundraising operations from progressive organizations to Senate Campaigns to House Campaigns.Responsibilities include:Writing and sending fundraising emails and textsProofreading and ensuring that all messages are mistake-freeSetting up signup forms and donation pagesCompiling weekly reports of analytics from clients' email campaigns, text campaigns, and digital advertisingPerforming other duties as neededSkills and qualifications/requirements:2+ years of digital or fundraising experience for campaigns or progressive causesStrong writing skills and the ability to write quickly under time constraintsFamiliarity with Excel and Google SheetsExperience drafting fundraising emails and texts on behalf of campaigns or organizations is a plusFamiliarity with reporting in NGP, Action Network, Action Kit, or another CRM is a plusFamiliarity with text production and reporting in Switchboard, Tatango, or other text platforms is a plusFamiliarity with creating pages and monitoring results in ActBlue is a plusKnowledge of HTML is a plusExperience with Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager is a plusWillingness to work atypical hours for political candidatesWe offer an incredibly competitive benefits package.
