About the Position

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location; 2 years working as a Traveler. License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be able to read telemetry strips. Description: M/S Tele RN - 36 hours Nights and every other weekend. Unit is a 41-bed Medical Telemetry Unit. Floating to applicable units is required when needed. Night positions are straight Nights. Skill sets required include Cardiac Telemetry, administering cardiac drips, interpreting telemetry strips, TR Bands, and Hi-Flow Oxygen. Clinician to patient ratio on Nights is 1 to 5 or 6. Patient population includes Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, and GI. Total bed count is 41 with a census of 41. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.
