Ultrasound Technologist - GeneralLocation: West Branch, MI 48661Duration: 3 Months ContractShift: 9:30 AM - 10:00 PM (Every Third Weekend)Job DescriptionThis position performs general diagnostic ultrasound testing such as Abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts examinations as well as peripheral and abdominal vascular exams.The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating findings of diagnostic examinations using sonography as appropriate.The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the ultrasound lab, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment.The sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to pursue lifelong learning to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.
