Conversion Warehouse Associate

Job Overview Manage and coordinate activities of workers in processing shipments, inventory, orders, and all needs of the assigned account. Responsibilities Lead and direct a warehouse team of 10+ employees. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production workers or assembly line. Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information such as labels. Record amounts of materials received or distributed. Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Arrange product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Lead, motivate, and direct team efforts while informing the department supervisor of problems or potential issues that require immediate attention. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position is full‑time and on‑site.
