Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Endoscopy\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, evenings\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Evenings, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 21, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Endoscopy technologist to circulate and tech advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS on a day-shift assignment.Details\n \n Work in a 2-suite Endoscopy department within a hospital setting\n Patient ratios of 1:1 for circulator, up to 2 patients in PACU, and 1:1 (up to 1:3 when waiting) during preop questioning\n Staffing includes 1 circulator and 1 tech per room with a designated scope washer for the shift\n Utilizes Olympus scopes, OER Elite washer, and ION robot equipment\n Documentation completed in Meditech Expanse and Provation\n Schedule ranges from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, based on assignment\n Shift hours for this position are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM\n Floating to the ASC and other surrounding facilities required as needed\n Procedures performed include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravo, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, and bronchoscopy\n Requirements\n \n Active VA or compact RN license required\n Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required\n At least 1 year of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy specialty required\n Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS required\n Advanced skills in ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS needed\n Credentials and experience appropriate to scope of practice required\n No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months\n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)\n One professional reference required\n Additional Information\n \n Circulate and tech advanced GI/Endoscopy procedures\n Participate in daily huddle prior to start of shift\n Hospital-issued scrubs required as part of dress code\n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility\n No local candidates will be considered\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-749417.
