From our facility in Fort Worth, TX, we presently have a permanent, customer-facing Field Service Engineering opportunity to support our customers across North America. What you’ll be doing Running planned maintenance, inspections and preventative servicing at customer facilities Diagnosing breakdowns and solving mechanical problems in the field Supporting the installation and commissioning of centrifuges and associated equipment Precision fitting of components including bearings, seals and bushes to tight tolerances Carrying out workshop repairs and refurbishment in Fort Worth Writing clear, useful reports that customers and colleagues can act on Building genuine relationships with customers and service partners What we’re looking for A career orientated field service engineer / field service technician who has demonstrable experience of working with rotating equipment, industrial machinery, pumps and gearboxes, heavy engineering, field service, process equipment, or industries such as mining, oil & gas or power. If you’ve worked with large rotating assemblies before, even better. You’ll need to be: Based around our Fort Worth facility and ready to travel extensively across the US, with occasional international travel Customer-oriented and self-sufficient, comfortable working independently and using your own judgement A genuine problem-solver, not just a parts-changer Confident dealing directly with customers and committed to providing an excellent service Why this role?
