FP&A Leader for AI Evaluation

Design realistic FP&A evaluation tasks and reference materials for AI systems that will be used in corporate financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, business partnering, and capital allocation contexts. Work will target two distinct reporting and finance conventions, a US track aligned to US GAAP and domestic corporate finance practice, and an International track aligned to IFRS and cross-border finance conventions. Contributors create end-to-end scenario worlds, model outputs, and judgment-based rubrics that reflect senior FP&A decision making.

• Construct FP&A scenarios covering budgeting and forecasting cycles, variance analysis and business partnering, and capital allocation and strategic planning decisions.
• Create tasks across financial planning and forecasting, variance analysis and reporting, business partnering, capital budgeting and investment analysis, and financial modeling.
• Develop scenarios that incorporate common enterprise tools, including FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or Planful, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and ERP systems used by large companies.
• Apply FP&A methodologies, including driver-based forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario and sensitivity modeling, to the reporting basis each track targets, producing reference financial models, forecast decks, variance reports, and business case analyses.
• Author rubrics that distinguish authentic senior FP&A judgment from generic textbook or spreadsheet-template-level work.

• At least 5 years of experience in senior FP&A roles, for example FP&A leader, Director of FP&A, or CFO at a major company.
• Direct ownership of budgeting cycles, forecasting models, or capital allocation decisions.
• Fluency with FP&A tooling and strong understanding of corporate finance and financial modeling best practices.
• Recognized professional credentials such as CFA, MBA, or CPA are a plus.
• Prior authorship of rubrics or training materials is a plus.

Remote engagement, paid on an hourly basis.

80 - 90 hourly.

Work covers two tracks, US GAAP-based and IFRS-based. Experts qualified in either or both tracks are encouraged to apply.
