Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Operations Warehouse Admin position. This position is a contract opportunity, with a potential of transition to direct and it will be an onsite role in Orlando, FL

Summary:

As an Operations Warehouse Admin, you will assist the inventory control team in documenting / updating/creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse. You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.

Core responsibilities will be:

·         Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements, such as:
- SOP documentation / updating
- Part usage analysis
- Warehouse design and layout
- Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly

·         Projects & Continuous Improvement

·         Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of
material movement throughout two warehouse locations

·         Assist in obsolescence review / removal from inventory and system update

·         Lead other projects as assigned

Required Experience and Education:

·         Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.

·         Microsoft Office suite experience.

·         Associate's degree required.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures

·         Lean manufacturing experience, including 5S.
