Service Technician / Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a experienced service and installation technician for gas fireplaces to join our team! Service technician must demonstrate knowledge maintaining, and troubleshooting gas fireplaces. Installation technician must demonstrate knowledge of safe venting, gas fitting, and electrical techniques and procedures. Candidates for this position must pass written test prior to hiring.

Responsibilities:

Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems
Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance
Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload

NOVA Green Energy maintains, services, and installs gas fireplaces, residential heating and cooling systems, water heaters and pool heaters. We are certified by the National Fireplace Institute certified gas fireplace specialist. We serve the greater northern Virginia metropolitan area as well as some parts of Washington DC and Maryland at competitive prices.
