About the Position

Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Open heart experience and/or Endovascular experience. Scrubbing required. Description: Hiring process involves a profile review followed by an interview with the unit manager. The unit has 16 suites with an average of 30 cases per day, including 1-2 open heart cases. Clinicians may need to float to the General Operating Room as needed. The scheduling allows one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month, rotating with staff. Client provides scrubs in light blue. Team members have access to a call room on-site if needed. Floating requirements may include working in general areas if no CVOR cases are available. Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel a specified number of shifts during the assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Weekend shifts may include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Holiday and call preferences are welcomed if available. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Position requires strong collaboration with surgical teams. A focus on patient safety and care excellence is essential. This role necessitates strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
