Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 48 months of Trauma Level 3 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Additional Details:

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: 4+ years of recent experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 trauma facility, recent critical care exp in both MICU and SICU, familiar with lung protective ventilation. Participation on Code Blue team. Able to make ventilator decisions based upon patient assessment and laboratory results.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer exp with Level III NICU, Drager XL and v500 Vents.

Required Certs: RRT certification, NRP. MA Respiratory Care license, BLS. NPS and or ACCS preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, Every other Holiday.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years
