Job Description Job Description Medical Assistant - OB/GYN Private Practice For Her Health SC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing, patient-centered OB/GYN practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care by supporting both our clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, friendly, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient. Schedule & Benefits * One convenient office location * No weekends * Office Hours: * * Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM * Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM * Medical Assistants are assigned a consistent schedule, with flexibility to adjust or cover additional shifts when needed. Medical Assistant Responsibilities * Room patients and obtain vital signs * Collect and accurately document medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR) * Administer vaccines and injections * Perform phlebotomy * Triage patient phone calls and communicate appropriately with providers * Notify patients of test results and respond to patient messages * Process prescription refill requests * Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms * Assist with ordering and maintaining medical and office supplies * Support providers with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications * Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred * Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience is a plus, but not required * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment * Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is preferred * Reliable, professional, and committed to outstanding patient care * Willingness to maintain flexibility in scheduling and assist the team as practice needs evolve If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive private practice where you can make a meaningful difference in women's health, we encourage you to apply.
