Job Type:   Contact to hire
Hours: Full-time 32–40 hrs/week (typically ~38 hrs/week )
Schedule: Clinic hours,  every other weekend , some  major holidays ; may  float to nearby locations

Overview

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Float to support a busy  MinuteClinic environment. This is a  full-time contingent role and is considered  safety sensitive .

What You’ll Do

• Administer  oral, injectable, IV, and topical medications (per scope/policy)
• Perform routine and complex patient assessments, including  vital signs and symptom monitoring
• Document patient history, allergies, medications, and care in the  EMR
• Support patient education, self-care techniques, and disease management
• Assist with clinic flow, stocking/organization, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
• Conduct medication reviews and help identify potential side effects/interactions
• Provide excellent patient/customer service and collaborate with the clinical team

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in North Carolina (must be in good standing; compact license must reflect primary state of residence)
• At least 1 year related experience in a healthcare setting
• Recent experience in  Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER
  (Please note: candidates whose experience is limited to LTC/nursing home, home health, LTAC, or SNF are not a fit for this setting.)
• Experience with:
• • Phlebotomy
  • Vaccine administration
  • Point-of-care testing
• Comfortable floating and adapting quickly to different nearby clinic needs
• Verifiable HS Diploma or GED
• Current BLS/CPR (expiration must be  at least 30 days beyond the start date )

Preferred: Epic EMR (or similar EMR) experience

Training / Scheduling Notes

• Initial 3 weeks of training/orientation (no time off planned during this period)
• Schedules are created in 6-week blocks after training
• Shifts are typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
• Typical week: 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend
