Summary

Provide direct support and care to adults in a compassionate and professional manner while promoting independence, dignity, and safety. Assisting individuals with daily living activities, medication reminders, transportation, and community involvement as needed. Maintaining positive communication with clients, families, and team members while documenting services accurately and responding appropriately to behavioral or medical concerns. Working collaboratively with coworkers to create a supportive environment that encouraged client growth and well-being. Beacon Light operates 3 residential cottages on the main campus in Bradford, PA. These homes each house up to 8 individuals diagnosed with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

About Us

The phrase Beacon Light actually refers to two distinct companies:
Beacon Light Behavioral Health System (BLBHS) and Beacon Light Adult Residential Services (BLARS).

Together they provide mental health services to adults, children and families in both community-based and residential settings. Individually, BLARS primarily provides residential programs for adults, while BLBHS provides community-based and residential programs for children, as well as community-based programs for adults.
