Contracts Manager (GovCon)

Contracts Manager Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA Industry: Government Contracting Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnered with a government contractor seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the administration of federal contracts and related agreements. This role will support cradle-to-grave contract management and serve as a key business partner to leadership, program teams, finance, and legal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of government contracting regulations, contract administration best practices, and cross-functional collaboration in a compliance-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and NDAs Review solicitations, contract awards, modifications, and other contractual documents Provide guidance on contract interpretation, risk identification, and compliance requirements Support proposal review, negotiations, and contract execution activities Partner with finance and program teams to ensure alignment between contract terms and operational execution Maintain organized contract files and support internal reporting requirementsAssist with audit requests, compliance reviews, and internal process improvements Monitor contractual obligations and ensure timely communication of key terms, deadlines, and risks Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Legal Studies, or related field 5+ years of contracts administration or contracts management experience in a GovCon environment Strong working knowledge of FAR and DCAA compliance requirements Experience supporting a range of federal contract types preferred Exposure to Deltek Costpoint or Unanet strongly preferred Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
