Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Role Description The Pediatric Occupational Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for evaluating children’s functional abilities, sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living skills, and developing individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day tasks include leading one-on-one therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based interventions, documenting progress, and adjusting goals in collaboration with families and caregivers. The therapist will work closely with other therapy disciplines to coordinate care, provide parent education and home program recommendations, and maintain clear communication with the clinical team. Additional responsibilities include participating in team meetings, contributing to a positive clinic environment, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, with experience providing therapy services to children and families. Knowledge and practical skills in Sensory Integration, with the ability to design and implement sensory-based interventions. Experience in Early Intervention and Working With Children in a clinical setting, including family-centered care. Current license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California. Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to build trust with children and caregivers. CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with best practices for safety and infection control in pediatric settings. Previous experience with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, or other special needs is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
