Assistant Operations Manager

Responsibilities Assisting in day‑to‑day management of the assigned location ensuring parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines, fostering good client relations, and promoting a professional image. Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction. Engage in the development of property‑level financial and operational goals. Assist in the management of day‑to‑day activities: ensuring appropriate customer interaction, supervising the completion of evening closing reports, processing bank deposits, scheduling and supervising frontline staff, preparing month‑end reports, auditing daily cashier shift reports, monitoring time cards, hiring and training staff, reviewing damage claims, disbursing petty cash, and preparing the annual budget. Courteously assist customers by answering questions. Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks directed by the Facility Manager. Report accidents, violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences. Assist with cleanup of debris, water or oil spills. Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways around the garage. Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed. Qualifications Education/Experience Required : High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred. Availability to Work : Special shift requirements, if any, will vary. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required. License Requirement : Must possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record. Oral Communication : Speaks clearly; listens and obtains clarification; responds well to questions. Written Communication : Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information. Customer Service : Strong customer orientation, positive attitude; responds to requests for assistance courteously. Adaptability : Adapts to changes, delays, or unexpected events. Judgment : Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Physical Demands : Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
