Construction Superintendent (224363-05)The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on active job sites in Waipahu and throughout Oʻahu. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and according to schedule and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can effectively manage crews and subcontractors, solve problems as they arise, and work closely with the project management team.HoursFull-time, Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pmLocationHonolulu, OahuPay$100,000 to $140,000 a year, DOEResponsibilitiesDirect and coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, and construction crews.Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve potential delays.Enforce jobsite safety programs and OSHA requirements.Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets plans and specifications.Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with the project team.Lead subcontractor and jobsite safety meetings.Prepare and maintain daily field reports.Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer on schedules, budgets, and RFIs.Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.Qualifications5+ years of construction superintendent experience in commercial or residential construction.Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction means and methods.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.Proven ability to lead construction crews and subcontractors.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in an active construction environment.OSHA 30 certification preferred.Valid driver’s license.
