Assistant Packaging Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Packaging Designer to support the development of innovative packaging solutions across multiple product categories. This role will assist in executing packaging concepts, preparing production-ready artwork, and ensuring brand consistency across all packaging materials. The ideal candidate has a strong design eye, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of packaging concepts for product lines. Create and revise packaging layouts, dyelines, and production files. Support the preparation of presentation materials, mockups, and packaging comps. Ensure all packaging artwork aligns with brand standards, product requirements, and retailer guidelines. Review proofs and production samples for accuracy, color consistency, and quality. Maintain organized packaging files, specifications, and artwork archives. Assist with packaging updates, copy revisions, and regulatory labeling requirements. Communicate with vendors and printers regarding artwork specifications and production timelines. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, preferred. 1–3 years of packaging design or graphic design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop. Strong understanding of packaging production, print processes, folding methods and dyelines. Excellent typography, layout, and color skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
