We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional.
Compensation:$ 15.16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
- Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
- Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
- Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
- Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive
- Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proven track record of maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring safe and effective use.
- Commitment to upholding the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
The Best Western Plus Hudson Hotel & Suites is located 30 minutes from Denver International Airport and 10 minutes from Platte Valley Medical Center. We are located in Hudson and close to Brighton, Fort Lupton, and Keenesburg, with Love’s Travel Stop next door. As a team, we strive to offer the best lodging facility, with the friendliest staff in a family atmosphere. We take care of our guests as if they were our best friends and/or family members.
