You will have the chance to utilize your transportation design expertise in roadway and highway engineering to serve on exciting and engaging large‑scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities As a Transportation Roadway Design Engineer, you will lead and oversee project designs, develop roadway and highway solutions, coordinate with DOT, county or municipal clients, build 3D models and construction plans, mentor design teams, and support business development efforts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer License (PE) 5-10 years of previous professional engineering roadway design and geometrics experience leading tasks Previous Department of Transportation (DOT), county or municipal experience Strong Civil 3D or OpenRoads background for modeling and preparing construction plans Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams Strong written and verbal communication Ideal Qualifications Knowledge of the transportation market and established relationships with key clients such as TxDOT and local municipalities Passion for mentoring a high‑performing design team, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment Strong business development acumen to join forces with our Growth team as we pursue and secure new project opportunities that expand our project portfolio Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a servant‑leadership mindset focused on serving our teams, clients, and projects Benefits Employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. Salary The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
