The kind that shows up on shelves, in feeds, on websites, in inboxes, and in the moments that make someone stop scrolling, start shopping, or become a fan.At Habitat, designers don’t sit in a silo waiting for assignments to hit their desk. You’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, social creatives, photographers, videographers, developers, and account teams to bring ideas to life across every touchpoint.This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation who’s ready to level up. Someone who loves great typography, thoughtful systems, beautiful details, and the challenge of creating work that looks good and performs.You’ll report to our Associate Creative Director and/or their designees and collaborate closely with our Brand Design team.### Brands We Work With:## WHAT YOU’LL OWN— Designing brand assets across digital, social, packaging, web, email, and print— Supporting the development of visual identities, brand systems, and campaign creative— Translating strategy into thoughtful, visually compelling design solutions— Maintaining consistency across client brands while helping them evolve over time— Preparing client-ready presentations and design rationale— Collaborating with copywriters and strategists to bring concepts to life— Supporting production and execution from concept through final delivery— Contributing ideas, inspiration, and creative perspectives during team brainstorms and reviews## WHAT YOUR WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE— Designing social graphics, email assets, website elements, presentations, and campaign materials— Building decks and mockups that help clients visualize ideas before they’re brought to life— Refining typography, layouts, and visual systems across multiple brands— Participating in creative reviews and incorporating feedback into your work— Collaborating with photographers, videographers, and content creators to ensure visual consistency— Organizing and preparing files for production and handoff— Researching trends, competitive landscapes, and visual inspiration— Working closely with senior designers and creative leadership to continue developing your craft— Juggling multiple projects and priorities without losing attention to detail## WHO YOU ARE— You have 1–3 years of professional design experience, ideally within an agency, studio, or in-house creative team— You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual thinking, typography, and brand design fundamentals— You understand that good design isn’t just beautiful — it’s purposeful— You’re proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign— Experience in Figma is a plus— You can confidently explain your design decisions and welcome constructive feedback— You have an eye for detail and notice the things most people miss— You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working across disciplines— You’re curious, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve your craft— You can manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work— You’re based in Fort Worth or ready to be## WHAT WE OFFER— Competitive salary with bonus potential— 401(k), full benefits, generous PTO, and a holiday schedule that respects your life— A real career path — our Associate Brand Designers have opportunities to grow into Brand Designer, Senior Brand Designer, and Art Director roles— Work alongside an in-house photo, video, design, influencer, and paid media team — all under one roof— Clients you’ll be proud to put in your portfolio— A Fort Worth office built for the way creatives actually work — an in-house prop library, a wardrobe vault, a studio at your fingertips, and three coffee makers (we take all three seriously)## OUR CULTUREWe don’t believe culture is ping-pong tables or free snacks (though we’re not mad about snacks).Culture is how we show up for each other, how we think about the work, and how we treat the brands that trust us with theirs.Some days are heads-down and deadline-driven.
