About This Role
LEAD Toddler Teacher
Shape young minds in Naugatuck, CT as a Lead Toddler Teacher. Guide children ages one to three in a safe, fun, and warm classroom. Build strong bonds with families and help kids grow every day.
What You'll DoWhat You'll Do
- Plan fun daily lessons for toddlers following CT ELDS
- Keep the classroom safe and clean
- Track each child's growth and learning
- Talk with parents about daily progress
- Help toddlers learn basic social skills
- * 2+ years of experience in a licensed childcare center
- High school diploma or GED, CDA Preferred
- Must be able to see and or hear a child in distress up to 25 feet away.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs repeatedly during the course of each day.
- Must be able to sit on the floor with children and be able to get up quickly.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with staff and families.
- Good writing and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Associate degree in child development
- Bilingual skills
- Extra training in special education
