• Teaching hospital
• Beds: 228

General Information

• Beds: 1 Treatment room average 7-9 patients a day
  • 2 therapists

Experience: 2 years

• First-time traveler: Upon Review

Patient Types:

• Outpatient Oncology patients only
• Covid & PPE

Patient Ratios:

Required Certifications:

• RN - BLS
• Radiation Therapist - BLS RTR cert

Skills required

• RN - Assist physician on clinic days, History and Physicals, coordinate care, V/S, point of care testing.
• Radiation Therapist - Administer radiation
• Varian

Support on the Unit:

• 2 nd therapist working
• Radiation Oncologist on site twice a week
• One nurse scheduled every day
• Patient service representative responsible for scheduling, coordinating and patient flow

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC
• Alaris
• Pyxis

Floating: N/A

Orientation:

• NEO
• Unit orientation: one week

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation – N/A
