Pay: $52.33 - $83.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

The OR Manager position at Memorial Central is responsible for the day-to-day operational and clinical leadership of the operating room. The role oversees staffing, scheduling, quality and patient safety initiatives, physician and team collaboration, budget accountability, and regulatory compliance. The manager works closely with perioperative leadership to support efficient surgical services, staff development, and excellent patient outcomes. This position leads a large, fast-paced level- one surgical environment and requires strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills.

Manages the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) or function(s) to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.

Requirements:

• Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing. Preferred: Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant certification as determined at position level. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
• 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
