We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Member Service Representative opportunity with an established Credit Union for their downtown Tampa, FL location.

The Member Service Representative is responsible for below specific duties. Your specific duties will include:

• Serve as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union, providing courteous, professional, and efficient service.
• Assist members with daily banking needs, including providing account information and guidance on Credit Union products and services.
• Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy.
• Open and service member accounts, including checking/savings accounts, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), and IRAs.
• Prepare and process required documentation for new accounts, account maintenance, and related services.
• Accept and process loan applications and assist members with loan-related requests.
• Handle member requests such as stop payments, ATM/debit card orders, temporary checks, check orders, and line-of-credit advances.
• Research and resolve member account questions or discrepancies related to transactions, fees, overdrafts, and account activity.
• Cross-sell and promote Credit Union products and services to meet member financial needs.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 12 years of experience working in a Credit Union or Banking environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Teller or Cash handling experience.

Pay Rate Range - $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
