Overview VDC Modeler role for Catapult Solutions Group client in BIM/VDC, Remote. The position focuses on creating accurate Building Information Models and implementing Virtual Design and Construction methodologies to support project execution from concept through completion. About Our Client: Our client is a third-generation, family-centered organization with over 1,500 industry experts dedicated to delivering energy and transportation infrastructure projects. Their culture emphasizes safety, innovation, collaboration, mental wellness, and open-door leadership. Responsibilities Ensure integrity of project drawings and maintain privileged information. Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate and complete modeling drawing sets. Create construction drawings from scratch when necessary. Revise existing construction drawings as directed by design managers. Maintain a tracking log and storage location of drawings. Run multi-trade coordination for clash detection to support design. Collect and process 2D documentation and 3D models for coordination. Provide insight into new time-saving technologies and methodologies. Educate project teams and clients on the benefits of VDC. Promote and implement VDC processes and tools within projects. Required Experience / Skills 3–5+ years of work experience in Revit. Knowledge and experience with Autodesk software and cloudshare. Familiarity with MEP drafting coordination, with emphasis on electrical underground infrastructure. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Nice-to-Haves Additional skills in other VDC-related software. Passion for leveraging technology to drive innovation in construction. Previous experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Education Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture OR Associate’s degree. Pay & Benefits Summary Annual base pay: $70,000 – $115,000 (dependent on experience, skills, and location). Eligible for performance-based bonus.
