Quality Supervisor
Location: Lansing, MI, and nearby surrounding areas | Schedule: All Shifts(1st, 2nd, 3rd); Hours May Vary | Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per HourEmployment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
About the Role
Cardinal Staffing is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Quality Supervisors for reputable employers throughout Lansing and nearby surrounding areas. This is a hands-on leadership role in fast-paced manufacturing environments.This is a temp-to-hire position with the opportunity for a pay increase upon permanent hire. Candidates must be available for all shifts, flexible with their working hours, and willing to travel to different job sites throughout the Lansing area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee sorting, inspection, and rework projects within manufacturing facilities
- Coordinate daily shift activities and provide direction to employees
- Ensure quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures are followed
- Review production paperwork, inspection reports, and employee timesheets
- Communicate project updates, quality concerns, and staffing needs to management
- Train, support, and monitor employees working on assigned projects
Job Requirements
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience
- Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid and consistent work history
- Availability to work all shifts and adjust hours based on client needs
- Ability to travel throughout Lansing and nearby surrounding areas
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Reliable transportation
