At Siemens Digital Industries, you'll join the Execution Strategy team, a group responsible for helping shape how marketing programs are planned, targeted, measured, and continuously improved. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to the strategic side of digital marketing, giving you the opportunity to work alongside experienced marketers and learn how large‑scale B2B marketing programs come to life. As a Digital Marketing Strategy Intern, you will support the development of audience strategies, campaign planning, channel recommendations, reporting, and performance analysis across a variety of marketing programs. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience with modern marketing practices such as customer journey planning, audience segmentation, omnichannel engagement, and data‑driven decision making. You will collaborate with marketing strategists, campaign managers, sales teams, analytics specialists, and content teams while learning how digital marketing supports business growth. Key Responsibilities Support the development of audience and targeting strategies for digital marketing campaigns. Assist with market research, industry research, persona development, and audience analysis. Help gather, organize, and analyze campaign performance data across multiple marketing channels. Contribute to the development of campaign recommendations and strategic planning documents. Support testing initiatives and help identify opportunities for campaign optimization. Assist in documenting customer journeys and mapping engagement opportunities across the buyer lifecycle. Help build presentations, reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including campaign execution, analytics, sales, content marketing, and product marketing. Research emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices and share findings with the team. Participate in team meetings, strategy discussions, and project planning activities. Support special projects related to audience development, channel strategy, marketing operations, and campaign innovation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and communicate insights effectively. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and marketing concepts. Preferred Qualifications Coursework in marketing, advertising, business analytics, communications, economics, or related disciplines. Experience through student organizations, coursework, academic projects, internships, campus leadership, or volunteer work. Basic understanding of digital marketing channels such as email, social media, search, content marketing, or paid media. Familiarity with data analysis, dashboards, or reporting tools. Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or similar analytical tools. Interest in AI, marketing technology, customer insights, or marketing innovation. Experience presenting findings or recommendations to a group through coursework or extracurricular activities.
