As an HR Generalist focused on employee relations, you’ll help frontline leaders handle their toughest people issues fairly and consistently, so they can build teams that stay.The basicsSchedule: Full-time, hybrid, based in Dublin, OH, with occasional travel to communitiesReports to: Manager of Talent OperationsWhat you’ll doGuide frontline leaders. Coach managers through performance issues, corrective action, and conflict resolution, in partnership with HRBPs and centers of excellence.Lead investigations. Investigate complaints and alleged policy or conduct violations, document findings, and recommend fair, defensible outcomes.Be the policy resource. Interpret policies and employment law for employees and managers, and help update policies as the organization evolves.Manage unemployment claims. Review claims with vendors and operations leaders, and coordinate hearing preparation and follow-up.Turn cases into insight. Maintain accurate, confidential case files and report on trends in turnover, engagement, and employee relations.Support HR projects in engagement, retention, process improvement, and system implementations.What you need3+ years of HR experienceWorking knowledge of employment law and ER best practicesAbility to influence and coach leaders at all levelsSound judgment and discretion with sensitive informationBachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field, or equivalent experienceNice to haveDirect employee relations and workplace investigations experienceSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationExperience in healthcare, senior living, or multi-site organizationsWhy National Church ResidencesRetirement: 3% company contribution from day one, increasing to 5% over time, plus a match of up to 5% moreHealth coverage: Medical, dental, and vision starting the first of the month after you’re hiredPaid parental leave: Four weeks at 100% payWell-being rewards: Up to $1,000 per yearTuition reimbursementTime off: PTO plus 9 paid holidaysOur team members come from many backgrounds and share one thing: they care about people.
