This position is responsible for ensuring that safe, high quality cleaning methods are in place. Additionally, the role manages Tank Wash employees. Duties/Responsibilities Manage staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation and feedback, and corrective action. Ensure personnel abide by the rules and regulations related to safety and environmental matters. Produce quality work for the customer. Manage and utilize equipment. Ensure that the maintenance program is strictly followed. Consult with Regional Tank Wash Manager on maintenance matters. Ensure that the assigned site terminal and equipment are maintained, clean, and neat. Identify areas of the cleaning rack that can be expanded to increase utilization of the fixed facility. Identify cleaning racks with additional capacity and seek to fill it by selecting suitable cleaning partners. Advise and consult with the Regional Tank Wash Manager on service problems. Monitor site terminal’s service levels to ensure the best possible service. Report results via standard operating format. Ensure understanding and consistent application of Company policies. Recommend any changes in Company policy to senior leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned. Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 75 lbs. Able to fit into a 20” cargo trailer dome opening. Able to meet safety standards for fall protection harness – max weight 310 lbs. (includes all PPE worn) Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Stand for long periods of time. Walk for long periods of time. Bend or twist their body.
