Job Opportunity: Urologist

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time Urologist to join our teams at both Queens and Elmhurst facilities. We are in search of a dynamic, driven, and skilled individual who will engage in direct patient care, as well as teach and supervise residents and students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai within an academic community hospital environment. A strong focus on urologic oncology and robotic surgery is essential, and additional expertise in reconstruction, lithiasis, and female/pelvic medicine would be advantageous.

Queens and Elmhurst are acute care hospitals that are part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States. These modern medical centers feature Centers of Excellence in various fields, including Women's Health, Cancer Care, Diabetes Care, and Behavioral Health. They cater to a highly diverse population, addressing a wide range of medical conditions. Our state-of-the-art resources include a DaVinci Xi surgical robot, a team of Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners, urology residents at each location, an NCI-designated Cancer Center, and a Level 1 Trauma Center.

• Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Urology.
• Licensed to practice in the State of New York.
• Faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will be based on experience and achievements.

We offer a competitive salary that reflects qualifications and experience, along with excellent benefits. Scheduling is flexible, with on-call duties limited to no more than one night in four, and these responsibilities can be arranged in clusters for convenience.
