Maintenance Mechanic

Parallel Employment Group is excited to partner with a medical manufacturer in the Buffalo, NY area in looking for qualified maintenance mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on day to day maintenance of equipment as well as emergency repairs when equipment goes down. You will have the opportunity to utilize many of your mechanical skills, from small electrical repairs, ability to repair and restart parts of the production line quickly and replace parts. Shift: 1st shift Pay Rate: $20 to $30 an hour Responsibilities Where ISO procedures areinaccurate,workwith supervision and engineering tofacilitatedocument changes Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipmentand mechanical systems Observe machinery in operation toidentifycauses of malfunction Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective components Adjust mechanicaldevices and control instruments Install structural and functional parts on machinery Operate and test equipment to verifyperformance Troubleshoot mechanical,electricaland pneumaticsystems to minimize downtime Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions Assistother maintenance mechanics, engineers and operatorson projects and major repairs as needed Mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read andcomprehendblueprintssimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent andto interpretbar graphs. Ability to manufacture,modify, and repair precision components and tooling to tight tolerances Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Familiar with drilling, tapping, boring, grinding, and other machining operations Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality,accurateworkExperience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills, drill presses, and other precision machining equipment Ability to fabricate, repair, andmodifymachine parts, tooling, fixtures, and components as needed to support production and maintenance activities Parallel Employment Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Parallel Employment Group
