About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76101!

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from a wide range of surgical procedures including general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio in a 26-bed PACU unit located adjacent to the OR
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Adhere to ASPAN Guidelines for post-anesthesia nursing practice
• Participate in on-call rotation, including one night per week and two weekends during the 13-week contract
• Float to Day Surgery as needed

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• ICU experience required - candidates without ICU or PACU background will not be considered
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work varied shift times; block scheduling cannot be accommodated

• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties including neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Easygoing, team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills

• Work alongside a highly experienced and welcoming PACU team in a state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment
• Gain diverse clinical exposure across multiple surgical specialties in a high-volume acute care environment
