JOB SUMMARY

• Assists paint department by acquiring emergency parts from the parts crib and transporting them to the requested area
• Assists with the day-to-day functionality of the General Stores Crib.
• Assists UAW crib attendants by answering questions
• Full time, In person position
• Shift Hours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform duties without supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
• Follow-Up on reports/instructions to ensure timely completion of Indirect Material responsibilities.
• Investigate missing parts/ documentation
• Be qualified to operate necessary customer systems to perform job functions (i.e. Microsoft products). Communicate delivery status of out-of-stock and back-order items.
• Help ensure that the right inventory items are at the right place at the right time.
• Other tasks/duties/projects as required.

• Ability to read and interpret operating and planning documents, purchasing forms, requisitions, safety rules, and operating and procedure manuals.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of experience in warehouse/inventory skills.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products.
