Site Launch and Operations Manager

We're partnering with a growing manufacturer to find an experienced operations leader to oversee the launch and relocation of a new manufacturing facility. This is a unique opportunity to lead a greenfield startup from planning through production launch, with the expectation of transitioning into the Plant Manager role once the site is fully operational. What You Need Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field. 7+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, or plant management. Experience leading facility startups, plant relocations, equipment installations, or other large manufacturing projects. Strong project management and cross-functional leadership experience. Background in metal machining, metal fabrication, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP, or PMP experience is a plus. What Your Role Will Look Like Lead the planning, relocation, startup, and stabilization of a new manufacturing facility. Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, HR, IT, contractors, and vendors. Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, production readiness, staffing, and facility startup activities. Drive project execution while managing timelines, budgets, and operational milestones.
