Job Description

The Appliance Delivery Driver/Helper plays a crucial role in transporting and delivering appliances safely and efficiently within the local area. This role involves operating a box truck, interacting professionally with customers, and handling heavy or bulky appliances while adhering to safety standards and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Drive a box truck to deliver appliances within the local delivery area
Load and unload heavy or bulky appliances safely and efficiently
Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
Handle delivery equipment and ensure proper care and maintenance
Comply with all safety protocols and regulations
Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Demonstrated ability to drive safely and navigate delivery routes
Strong customer service skills and professionalism
Effective time management and ability to meet delivery schedules
Problem-solving skills to handle delivery challenges
Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
Capability to frequently lift and move heavy or bulky appliances
