The Appliance Delivery Driver/Helper plays a crucial role in transporting and delivering appliances safely and efficiently within the local area. This role involves operating a box truck, interacting professionally with customers, and handling heavy or bulky appliances while adhering to safety standards and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck to deliver appliances within the local delivery area
- Load and unload heavy or bulky appliances safely and efficiently
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
- Handle delivery equipment and ensure proper care and maintenance
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations
- Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely and navigate delivery routes
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism
- Effective time management and ability to meet delivery schedules
- Problem-solving skills to handle delivery challenges
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
- Capability to frequently lift and move heavy or bulky appliances
