Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) and mandatory on-call 2 times per month in addition to the 3 shifts.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. No RTO allowed in the first two weeks of the assignment. 1 holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed to be approved. Must work most holidays. Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Must have Epic experience.
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced.
• Skills needed: Use of external fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, and circulation for C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for effective patient care.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and manage abnormal patterns.
• Assist in C-sections by circulating as needed.
• Float to perinatal unit as required.
