Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care

Location Clyde, NC

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule PM shift with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours required every other weekend.

Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients, including those in step-down and post-cardiac catheterization recovery. This role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• All required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a step-down or ICU setting preferred.
• Experience with telemetry preferred.
