Job DetailsJob Location: Perfect North Slopes - LAWRENCEBURG, IN 47025IT Department Gates Support Specialist Seasonal Position 2026-2027 Perfect North Slopes The Gates Support Specialist serves as a vital link between the Ticket Office team and the Lift/Gates team, ensuring that guests have a seamless experience when accessing the slopes. This role is crucial for troubleshooting any issues related to ticket and pass scanning, particularly with the radio frequency identification (RFID) gate system. The specialist will document and investigate ticketing errors, coordinate with other departments to address recurring issues, and provide excellent guest service by resolving problems efficiently. Additionally, they will monitor for potential fraudulent use of passes and communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel. Gates Support Specialists develop a thorough knowledge of all Perfect North Slopes products, including lift tickets and season passes, along with the related sales procedures and system operations. Flexibility in work location, hours, and tasks is essential, as responsibilities may shift with business needs. Responsibilities Communication: Develop familiarity with all Perfect North Slopes’ ticketing and pass products. Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors. The position requires effective communication skills, as the specialist will utilize telephones and two-way radios to report ticketing problems and respond to inquiries from guests and employees. Problem Solve: The specialist will document and investigate ticketing errors, coordinate with other departments to address recurring issues, and resolve problems efficiently. Additionally, they will monitor for potential fraudulent use of passes and communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel. Additional: As the Gates Support Specialist’s knowledge and confidence grows, additional responsibilities beyond what is described here may be unlocked. Requirements Must be at least 16 years old by 11/1/2026 to apply. All employees age 18+ will complete a background check upon hire. Strong interpersonal and communications skills to interact with guests and coworkers effectively. Basic understanding of computer systems, software applications and troubleshooting techniques. Pay Rate $15 per hour Employees may receive a pay raise with each year of experience working at Perfect North Slopes.
