ALPLA values their employees, work-life balance, personal growth, compensation, and sustainability.What Can You Expect From ALPLA?Health and Wellness Care Program- BenefitsChild Care BenefitsDependent Care Cost Savings ProgramRecognition programs; Promotional opportunities401K Retirement Plan and excellent Matching PlanMedical, dental, vision planEducation assistance program/tuition reimbursementShort term, long term and life insurance paid by ALPLAPaid vacation; paid holidaysMain Purpose of the Job:Responsible for mold shop operations; including mold cleaning, inspection, maintenance, repairs, and inventory control of all mold related spare parts.Main Responsibilities:Mold Maintenance CleaningInspectingPreventative MaintenanceRepairing/Corrective MaintenanceDocumentationMachining Modifications – reporting any/all changes to Supervisor & Technical CenterMaintenance – assists in modifying and repairing parts as neededInventory Control Maintain accurate/current records of all mold related drawingsMaintain accurate quantities of all mold related spare partsOrders spare and/or replacement parts as neededWork closely with Production Planners to align toolroom activities and mold readiness with overall production goals through mold maintenance activitiesLiaison between plant and external mold vendors Supplies needed documentationActs as main contact for technical departmentMaintains communication between the NOAM Mold Specialists on all mold related mattersPerformance Measurements:Able to meet timelines, to minimize production downtimeAccuracy and precisionSafetyQualityThe position description is not all inclusive and I may be required to perform other duties as assigned.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentThree or more years related experience.Completion of Technical College or equivalent Apprenticeship Program is preferredQualifications/Skills:Able to read, draw, and communicate technical drawings.Demonstrate proficiency working to precision tolerances in operation of Milling Machines, Lathes, and Surface GrindersGood computer skillsAble to lift up to 50lbsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
