Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and hysterectomy procedures
• Operate and monitor Baxter infusion pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring equipment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink systems
• Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units as needed and approved

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• High-risk obstetric patient care experience
• Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care
• Active RN licensure applicable to North Carolina
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS/ALS certification and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in Labor and Delivery procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation systems
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, collaborative unit environment
