Electrical Engineer – Data Center Power & UPS Systems Seeking a hands‑on Electrical Engineer to support critical power infrastructure across data centers and manufacturing plant computer rooms This role focuses on facility‑level electrical power systems, ensuring reliable, 24/7 operation of mission‑critical environments. You will work directly with UPS systems, power distribution infrastructure, and electrical designs, providing technical leadership and recommendations to support system performance, uptime, and long‑term capacity planning. This is a highly technical, individual contributor role requiring direct electrical engineering experience and the ability to work closely with vendors, internal teams, and real‑world infrastructure system Key Responsibility Serve as a technical lead for electrical power systems, with a strong focus on UPS architecture and integrat Analyze and determine power requirements, load capacity, and redundancy strategies for critical environments Develop and provide technical recommendations on electrical design, system improvements, and capacity planning Partner with external vendors and equipment providers to evaluate solutions, review designs, and ensure alignment with standards Interpret and work from electrical one‑line diagrams, schematics, and power distribution designs Lead and contribute to design reviews for UPS systems, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and related infrastructure Collaborate with data center operations, facilities, and engineering teams to ensure reliable power delivery Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and power‑related issues in live production environments Support upgrades, installations, and enhancements to data center and plant computer room infrastructure Take a hands‑on, independent approach to solving complex electrical challenges Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Direct, hands‑on electrical engineering experience with power systems (not solely oversight or PM experience) Strong foundation in electrical power systems and engineering fundamentals Hands‑on experience with UPS systems, including: Integration within facility power infrastructure Load calculation and power capacity planning Redundancy and reliability concepts (e.g., N+1, failover) Ability to read and interpret electrical one‑line diagrams and schematics Experience providing technical guidance, recommendations, or lead‑level support on electrical systems Experience working with or coordinating third‑party vendors or equipment providers Self‑directed with the ability to work independently in fast‑paced, uptime‑critical environments Preferred Qualifications Experience in data centers, manufacturing facilities, or mission‑critical environments Exposure to power distribution equipment, such as: PDUs (Power Distribution Units) Switchgear Backup generators ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) Experience supporting 24/7 operations or uptime‑critical systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
