Position Overview

As a Financial Professional with New York Life, you will help individuals, families, and business owners build financial security through customized insurance, retirement, and wealth accumulation strategies. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct financial needs analyses to understand clients' goals and objectives.
• Recommend appropriate financial solutions, including:

  • Disability Income Insurance
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
  • Fixed Annuities
  • Retirement Planning Strategies
  • Investment solutions (with appropriate licensing)
• Build a referral-based business through networking and community involvement.
• Provide ongoing service and annual reviews to clients.
• Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to build long-term relationships.
• Sales, customer service, business development, or leadership experience is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain required state insurance licenses and, if pursuing investment services, applicable FINRA registrations.
